Ben Middlekauff is an award-winning video director & editor based in NYC.

After attending NYU Tisch, Ben became an Assistant Editor at AMC Networks where he supported the on-air promo team for shows like Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead, and Fear the Walking Dead. In 2016, Ben became a Post-Production Producer and Video Editor at West Elm where he edited and developed the post-production workflow for West Elm’s wide range of content. Ben’s work drove up sales, generated millions of views, and received recognition by professionals in the field. While at West Elm, Ben created, directed and edited West Elm’s award winning video series, “Meet the Maker,” a collection of stylized short documentaries that feature the personal stories of local artisans.

Ben is currently a video editor at Big Think, where he utilizes his storytelling abilities to create short documentaries on complex and existential topics. Ben continues to hone his skills as a director & editor, and his hope is to continue to tell great stories that move the world.
